I am very pleased with the handmade wood eyeglass holder. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. I use several other styles for my glasses which I place in convenient places around the house. They are "cute" and useful, but this handmade wooden eyeglass holder is quite a bit larger and very attractive. I might describe it as "dignified" or "substantial." The finish is well-done and smooth to touch. My husband immediately appropriated them to use by his computer desk. Now he can find his glasses (most of the time). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and larger size of this eyeglass holder. When I purchased the product, I was willing to pay a bit more to support Fair Trade, but after receiving this holder, I believe the price is justified simply by the quality of the product. I will purchase more for personal use as well as gifts.

Coolest gift ever! Conversation piece for sure. Recommend to anyone that wears glasses. Always looking for something unique and unusual. Will buy one for myself soon.

Just received this handmade (Fair Trade, even better!) wooden eyeglass holder and I love, love, LOVE IT! It's practical, well made, unique, has lots of "personality" and is a conversation item, since I keep it on my cocktail table, along with some of my reading material (I'm a "bookaholic", so my reading "stuff" is all over the place!). It actually helps me to keep my reading glasses accessible, rather than my usual frantic searching for my glasses in the past since I didn't have a regular "home" for them previously. I will probably purchase more of these (for myself and as gifts) so I can keep several in various "reading areas" in my home.
Highly recommended for all of you "bookaholics" (or not!) out there!

This is a novelty item that is actually useful. It delighted my husband at Christmas time. It does not take up a lot of room. It is adorable, unique and well-made.
